New Headset Recomendations

Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is well. I'm looking at purchasing a new Headset as I'm currently using my Samsung in ear headphones which is not really ideal as they always fall out my ears now and again lol. I've used cheapish ones in the past but over time they all broke :(. I just wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations for a specific make model that is reliable, good sound quality for gaming, listening to music and for watching movies.

Thanks Chicken, I haven't been able to purchase one yet as I decided to save up for a few other things, but when I come to purchase I will look in to this one as the price looks good. Cheers pal for this.

Not sure if you have one yet mate but im using this and for the price its amazing. Great mic and great sound which are pretty noise cancelling as well

Will need to try them out, we have a shop called in UK that stock turtle beeches and a few of my other mates use turtle beeches on console and recommended them too. Just a week left till pay day haha Blum 3

i'm using an turtle beach ear force headset with mic. awesome sound good mic very clear and payable there are for 30 euros but also for 60 or 200 i bought mine around 65 euros somewhere in the middle always good Biggrin

Been looking at a few today on the net youtubing reading reviews, hopefully PC World will have some on display so i can test them tommorow. 

The SteelSeries headsets are on offer via Amazon though so might be tempted :P. I do like the design of them.

i have been using the corsair raptor hs30 great sound no issues  pop into pc world and tested  there gamer headsets at least you get to try and then come home and buy from the web Smile

Hey Jay,

I bought a new headset a few months ago. I did a lot of research before choosing this one (tests on yt and reviews)

SteelSeries Arctis 3 - 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset 

I payed like 79 euro for it.

  • it has a great clearcast microphone with good filtering of sounds around you
  • the microphone is retractable(hides inside headphone) and is very flexible
  • it has great sound, Very good to just listen to music or movies with surround sound
  • the software that comes with it has a lot of options
  • It is pretty big headset, but not heavy. The extra headband makes it nice to wear, give no headaches Wink
  • Its made of good material, you can drop it over and over, it will not break fast
  • it closes good over the ears, sounds from outside will be gone almost completely. You might not hear you mother calling that dinner is ready tho oO

So i am really sattisfied with the headset Wink
